Changes in the Children's Area

Please Bear with us ...
as we make some changes to the Children's Area!

In our on-going attempt to find more space, we are once again reorganizing the children's area. Hopefully these changes will all be completed by this weekend, so please pardon the appearance of the shelves this week! Juvenile biographies are currently stacked on the counter by the window, so PLEASE ask for assistance with this collection until they are returned to regular shelves. Please do not hesitate to ask for assistance if you can't find what you're looking for (anywhere in the library)! Our goal is to create more open-space for StoryTimes, which have been growing larger every week! Thanks for your patience!

We have recently added several new sets w/CDs and will eventually convert entirely to CDs. Happy Holidays to All!

Just a quick reminder: The Library will be CLOSED on Tuesday, December 26, but will be open regular hours the rest of the week. There will be NO MUSIC & MOVEMENT on Wednesday the 27th, but the StoryTimes schedule remains the same, on both Thursday & Friday of school vacation week.

As we discussed at this week's storytime sessions, lots of different people celebrate this season in lots of different ways, but the common themes we discovered were Lights/candles, Food and spending time w/Family & Friends! So however you are spending this Winter Solstice and the surrounding weeks, may you find much comfort & joy surrounded by loved ones!

Wishing you all much Light and Warmth!
