Discount Coupons available this Summer!

As part of the 2008 Summer Reading Program, we will have lots of FREE coupons for you, donated from various museums and attractions from all over the state. The coupons offer discounted admissions to many fun places, like Southwick's Zoo and Davis' Farmland.

The coupons will be available beginning on June 10th, the first day to register for this year's Summer Library Adventure, "Wild Reads at your Library."

Wild Reads at your library is sponsored by your local Massachusetts library, the Massachusetts Regional Library Systems, and the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.

Library Closing Early on Thursday ....

The Library will close early on Thursday, May 8th for Upton's Annual Town Meeting.

~ Our hours on May 8th will be 10:00 am - 6:00 pm.

~ Town Meeting will begin at 7:30pm at Nipmuc Regional H.S. ~ Please plan to attend.

Music & Movement: Sad news ...

Not wanting to be the bearer of bad news, it greatly saddens me to have to tell you all that our WONDERFUL Music & Movement Program provider, Deb Hudgins, has informed me that she has accepted a full-time position as an activities-director in a senior assisted-living facility, and will no longer be able to bring Music&Movement to Upton on Wednesday afternoons. Her last day with us will be on May 14th, 2008. She will certainly be missed, as she has been a part of the weekly schedule at the Upton Town Library for more than 6 years!

Please plan to attend her last session next week, to let her know how much we've all appreciated her, and to wish her well in her new endeavors!
